NOTE : Although outstanding taxes due to City of New Orleans (CNO), if shown, are available for in-person or online payment(s),the presence of Status Code 3: Tax Sale on the bill indicates that there is an unresolved Tax Sale(s).It may be due to one or more of the following conditions:

1. Delinquent taxes were paid by a third party and the third party has not been reimbursed for that payment with associated interests and penalty.

2. There may be additional payments made by a tax sale purchaser not shown above, but must be included in a redemption calculation / payment to redeem a property.

3. If there are taxes shown due to CNO, payment of those taxes does NOT resolve the outstanding Tax Sale(s).

4. For Tax Sale/Adjudication redemption information, send an email request to
TreasuryTSA@nola.gov or visit Room 1W40, City Hall, 8 AM. through 5 PM, Monday – Friday.

5. Redemption payments must be made in Cash or with a Cashier’s Check.

6. Be sure to contact the Tax Sales & Adjudication Unit before remitting any payments for redemption purposes. Please contact the Bureau of the Treasury at the address atop this page or by sending an email to TreasuryTSA@nola.gov for instructions regarding how to remit payment(s) appropriately for properties that have gone to tax sale.
